IBM Global Business Services is expanding and looking for NLP Engineers.
The preferred candidate can transform, cleanse and mine large-scale, complex data sets, visualize them into relevant and useful insights, and present the findings in a compelling story. He/she can also develop, validate and operationalize advanced analytical algorithms (predictive and prescriptive); including implementation on large scale systems.

Requirements:
MSc or PhD degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, etc.)
Familiar with NLP techniques or computational linguistics.
Experience with regex syntax
Experience with cleansing and preparing large, complex datasets for analysis
Expertise in applying machine learning in a professional or other intensive problem-solving environment with large, complex datasets
Experience with hypothesis testing, clustering, regression & classification, time series analysis, social network analysis, optimization and text analysis
Experience in statistical programming languages such as R and Python or equivalent
Familiarity with SQL/MongoDb or similar database query language
Professional-level expertise in developing, validating and executing algorithms and models on large scale systems
Familiarity with data visualization tools in Python or R
Be able to convey Data Science results in layman terms
Experience with using big data tools (e.g. Hortonworks/IBM; Hadoop, Spark, Kafka or commercial implementations of these) is an advantage
Previous data science project execution is an advantage
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement
