Two film adaptations

I have watched two adaptaions.  There are many differences.  The actors and actress play Edward Rochester and Jane Eyre with very different personalities and create different atmosphere. 
 
Here are my observations.

Jane Eyre is a strong-willed woman.  Although she had an unhappy childhood, she grew up and became a forgiving and independent lady. 
 
The transition of Jane Eyre and her love for Edward Rochester have been popular themes in movies and TV series.
