Global warming. The Greenhouse effect. The continuing decline of our air and water.
One of the best and most effective ways to responds to our growing environmental
crisis is to plant trees.
It's Americans like you --- of all shapes and sizes --- who understand they every new tree can make a difference.
We are losing our cool at 500,000 trees per hour
What can you do to help stop tropical deforestation?
Join other Americans across the country by making
your voice heard in Congress and by planting trees in
your community. Positive action taken by individual citizens can make a difference.
Every day million of trees are destroyed as tropical forests are leveled all over the world. This loss is a serious part of growing environmental crisis indicated by the green house effect and global warming.

But what can you do? You are pretty busy these days.
Don't have much time to drive out to the woods and play forest ranger.
Technically, you punch in the number. But Punch-a-tree does not sound as good.
How beautiful would America be without them?
Yes, the skies would be more spacious, but the amber wages of grain would likely
be shrivelled and brown. To keep American beautiful, we need new trees. Across the
country there are millions of places where new trees would reduce erosion, provide
habitat for wildlife and help restore damaged ecosystems.
