My grandpa is good at Japanese. I didn’t believe the language talent that he was proud of until one day he finished his autobiography of military experience in Japanese as mercenary in World War Ⅱ. He misses his teacher of the elementary school for devotion to education. Compared to Maria’s studying in English class, Maria and my grandpa were also born below the average in economics but still pursed their passion in education.
My grandpa and Lin’s handsome teacher of math also suffered the torture from the dictatorship of the government. The elder grandpa of mine once sent his letters to his Japanese teacher, telling the injustice and immortal behavior of the KMT officers, but those letters were intercepted by the intelligent of the government. Finally he was put in jail without the trial in the Court of Law for several months. It’s the tragedy of my grandpa and the cold, cruel way by KMT to use each mean to oppress the people just to meet their desire to power. The arrogant mayor of the Big Apple must be proud of his political act when he treated Maria unfriendly, he will feel regretful if someone criticized him on TV.
